Sharjah Tourism authorities are keen to tap into the untapped potential of Spain.
HE Mohamed Ali Al Noman, chairman, Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) said: “The authority is very keen to tap the booming Spanish tourism market and strengthen tourism promotion cooperation and exchange between two destinations.”
Sharjah’s interest in Spain’s tourism market is reflected in its regular participation in key tourism exhibitions and dedicated trade forums in Spain. These participations are aimed at increasing tourism exchange, investments and expanding size of the Emirate’s tourism share in the region.
Al Noman met with HE Marta Blanco, director, Tourism Authority of Spain, on the sidelines of International Tourism Trade Fair (FITUR) in Madrid. Al Noman and Blanco discussed industry trends and developments in Sharjah and Spain and latest trends and challenges faced by the global industry.
