Starwood has opened its first ever Sheraton hotel in Zhengzhou, the capital of central China’s Henan province.
The new 361-room Sheraton Zhengzhou Hotel is located in the city’s Zhengdong business district, close to the International Convention & Exhibition Centre and 25 minutes’ drive from Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport.
All rooms come equipped with LED TVs and iPod docking station, while the hotel also features a fitness centre, indoor swimming pool and three dining venues, including the brand’s biggest Yue Chinese restaurant, which covers 6,000m² and offers 43 private dining rooms.
For the MICE market, there is 3,300m² of meeting space, including the largest ballroom in Zhengzhou, which can accommodate 1,600 delegates.
“We are thrilled to debut the iconic Sheraton brand in Zhengzhou,” said Catherine Han, general manager of Sheraton Zhengzhou. “We look forward to connecting guests in the region… as we introduce guests to the comforts of our signature brand programmes.”
The Sheraton becomes Starwood’s fourth hotel in Zhengzhou, joining two Alofts and one Le Meridien hotel in the city.
