Singapore Airlines has formed a new partnership with Mileslife, China’s mileage earning app.
The new arrangement will allow members of SIA’s frequent flyer programme, KrisFlyer, to earn miles when they make purchases in China. Using the Mileslife app, KrisFlyer members can now collect one mile per CNY1-4 (15-60 US cents) spent in China.
Mileslife is the first mobile app that enables users to collect airline miles and points directly through their daily spending in China. It partners with restaurants, hotels and spas, and once users pay via the Mileslife app they will be instantly rewarded with airline miles.
Troy Liu, founder & CEO of Mileslife, said the KrisFlyer partnership has “laid a cornerstone for the internationalization of Mileslife”.
“KrisFlyer members will have an alternative miles earing channel when they come to China. Besides, the diversity of the frequent flyer programme is a key to expand. It will provide us a good opportunity for the expansion to overseas, especially in the Asian market in the future,” Liu commented.
