Sichuan Airlines is launching a series of new flights to Southeast Asia.
Earlier this week, the Chengdu-based carrier launched a new service to Nha Trang, the coastal city in Vietnam. The route will now operate three times a week, departing Chengdu every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
And on Friday 16 July, Sichuan Airlines will launch flights connecting Bangkok with Haikou, on southern China’s Hainan Island. Flights will run every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Then on 5 August, the airline will commence three weekly flights (Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays) from Chengdu to Chiang Mai, and increase the frequency of its Chongqing–Krabi service to daily, from the current four weekly flights.
All the new flights will be operated using a 194-seat, two-class Airbus A321 aircraft.
