Sichuan Airlines will launch its second service to Canada next month.
Effective 11 November 2016, the Chinese carrier will start operating twice weekly flights from Chengdu to Vancouver, via Zhengzhou.
Flights will depart Chengdu every Tuesday and Friday at 0900, arriving at Vancouver International Airport at 0835. The return service will then leave Vancouver at 1025 on the same days of the week, arriving back in Sichuan’s capital city at 1920 the next day.
Sichuan Airlines will deploy its two-class, 245-seat Airbus A330 aircraft on the route.
The launch will mean that Sichuan Airlines operates two between Chengdu and Vancouver – twice a week via Zhengzhou and once a week via Shenyang.
