Silversea has announced the appointment of Paul Fallows as regional sales manager South West, effective from 26 June.
Fallows has over 20 years of sales experience in the travel and hospitality sectors and joins Silversea from hotel firm The Oberoi Group where he held the role of director of sales, UK, corporate and MICE since 2012. Prior to this, he worked in the aviation sector as UK corporate sales manager for Hong Kong Airlines.
In his new position, Fallows will be responsible for developing and expanding sales initiatives across the region, which stretches from the Thames Valley to Cornwall and also includes the southern counties of Wales.
Silversea’s new flagship Silver Muse was christened in Monaco last month and is due to make her maiden UK call in Southampton this September. Elsewhere, the extensive renovation of Silver Cloud, which will see the vessel become an ice-class ship suitable for exploring polar waters, an is due to be complete by November.
Connie Georgiou, Silversea’s head of trade sales and partnerships, UK and Ireland said: “With over 20 years’ experience, we are delighted to be welcoming Paul and his wealth of commercial expertise to Silversea. This latest appointment further strengthens our regional sales team in what continues to be a very busy time for the company.”
Speaking ahead of his new appointment, Fallows added: “I am thrilled to be joining the Silversea team in such an exciting year. Being a large and very diverse patch, the South West region brings with it some fantastic opportunities. I’m looking forward to getting out on the road and start meeting agents soon.”
