Silversea Cruises will welcome Daria Khokhlova and Artemy Belyakov, ballet solo performers of the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, for an exclusive series of performances on board Silver Spirit’s 19 August Mediterranean cruise, sailing roundtrip from Istanbul.
The dance stars will appear on stage in the ship’s elegant Show Lounge for three performances during the nine-day voyage, which will visit destinations in Greece and Turkey.
“We are honoured to have two acclaimed artists from one of the world’s most renowned ballet companies performing on Silver Spirit for our guests,” said Lisa McAuley, Silversea’s Commercial Director for the UK and Ireland.
Daria Khokhlova joined the ballet company of the Bolshoi Theatre in 2009. Her repertoire includes such roles as the Marie in The Nutcracker, the Ballerina in Petrushka, Princess Florina in Sleeping Beauty, Olga in Onegin and Ophelia in Hamlet, to name a few.
Artemy Belyakov, whose notable roles include, among others, Blue Bird in Sleeping Beauty, Lensky in Onegin, and the Evil Genius in Swan Lake, joined the ballet company of the Bolshoi Theatre in 2010.
