Luxury cruise company Silversea has launched a new range of expedition cruises that focus on a specific activity.
The new offerings include cruises specialising in bird-watching, photography, scuba diving, wellness and gastronomy, and are being presented in a new series of print and digital mini-brochures.
“These speciality expeditions enable travellers to leverage their personal passions and interests to experience a more tailored journey of discovery,” explained Steve Odell, Silversea’s president for EMEA & Asia Pacific.
The ‘Birding & Ornithology Expedition Voyages’ are available on Silver Explorer, Silver Galapagos, and Silver Discoverer ships and include trips to Alaska and the Galapagos Islands.
The ‘Wellness Expedition Voyages’ are being offered onboard the Silver Discoverer to destinations in Southeast Asia and the South Pacific, and will include a programme of fitness training, yoga and spa treatments.
The ‘Photography Expedition Voyages’ include onboard lectures and workshops with a professional photographer onboard the Silver Explorer and Silver Discoverer ships, while the ‘Diving Expedition Voyages’ allow guests to explore the underwater worlds of Indonesia and the South Pacific from the Silver Discoverer.
Finally the ‘Culinary Expedition Voyages’ take place on the Silver Explorer’s voyages around Europe and the West African coast.
