Singapore has said that visitor arrivals fell 6.1% year-on-year, but that this indicated a slowdown in the steep declines seen in the first quarter of the year. The city-state welcomed 780,000 visitors during the month, boosted by a strong growth in arrivals from Hong Kong, the Philippines , Vietnam and Germany , Channel NewsAsia reported the Singapore Tourism Board as saying.
Arrivals fell almost 13% year-on-year in January, 15.2% in February and 13.2% in March, the report added.
