The One Farrer Hotel & Spa in Singapore has opened a new range of two-storey loft apartments.
Located on the 16th floor of the hotel and accessible by private lifts, the 23 new units are designed to offer a ‘hotel within a hotel’ concept.
Spread over two levels, each loft apartment offers 52m² of space, with the first level providing a bedroom and bathroom and the second level equipped with a working desk, lounge area and kitchenette.
Amenities include Samsung Smart televisions, free Wi-Fi and kitchen items including juice, milk, bread, ice cream and snacks, which are replenished weekly.
“Originally slated as mechanical transfer floors, the board of directors and I saw the potential to design a space for an accommodation model that could span over two levels, providing spectacular views of the Singapore skyline,” said Dr Richard Helfer, chairman of One Farrer.
“This configuration further provides the internal segregation of spaces similar to that of the much loved urban ‘walk up apartment’ and fits perfectly into our integrated hotels concept.”
One Farrer Hotel & Spa opened in September 2014 and features 243 rooms, suites, apartments and villas. It is a member of the Preferred Hotel Group.
