Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) has announced the addition of three new member properties in Asia.

The new Edison Georgetown in Penang, Malaysia, opened last month in a building that dates back to 1902. It has now been converted into a 35-room boutique hotel with a courtyard pool and library.

In South Korea, the Hotel28 Myeongdong in Seoul has also joined SLH. Having opened on 28 July, the hotel features a glass façade with 200 LED bulbs that is designed to look like a movie screen. Fittingly, Hotel28 has its own cinema, as well as a “secret garden” on the rooftop.

And finally in China, LN Hotel Five in Guangzhou offers 32 rooms on the banks of the Pearl River. Key features of this boutique hotel include in-room tablets, a Cantonese restaurant and a seventh floor rooftop bar.

SLH now has a portfolio of approximately 520 hotels in more than 80 countries.
