Manchester Airport has reopened after being forced to close while snow was cleared from its runways.
Flights have started to depart and arrive again from the north England airport, after closing its runways for around three hours.
On Twitter the airport said: “The safety and security of all of our passengers is of paramount importance and we ask for them to come to the airport as normal but to check with their airline for any further update.”
1/3 We continue to run a reduced operation with one of two runways in service. We are making significant progress in clearing the snow
