AccorHotels has officially launched its second Sofitel in Singapore.
The company has rebranded the Singapore Resort & Spa Sentosa, which it already managed, as the Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa.
“We are delighted to open a new luxury resort hotel in Singapore and look forward to bringing Sofitel’s renowned levels of culinary delights and hospitality to our guests,” said Vincent Lelay, cluster general manager of the two Sofitels in Singapore.
“The Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa represents a significant step for Sofitel in further increasing its presence in Southeast Asia.”
The new Sofitel offers 211 rooms and suites, plus four villas, as well as the world’s largest So Spa, which offers 20 treatment rooms. There are also four F&B outlets, a swimming pool and more than 1,300m² of conference and banqueting space, including two ballrooms and 15 meeting rooms. The property provides easy access to Tanjong Beach and is surrounded by 11 hectares of tropical woodland.
AccorHotels now operates seven hotels in Singapore under its Sofitel, Sofitel So, Novotel, Grand Mercure, ibis and ibis Styles brands.
