SpiceJet is upgrading its summer schedule with additional flights from Delhi.

Effective 10 May 2016, the Indian low-cost carrier will introduce a fourth additional weekly frequency between Delhi and Chandigarh, meaning that the route will operate every Wednesday, Thursdays, Friday and Saturday.

In addition, a third daily flight will be added to the Delhi-Dharamshala route and a second daily frequency will be operated between Delhi and Amritsar.

“We are truly grateful to the overwhelming response of our customers to the summer schedule we introduced recently,” said Shilpa Bhatia, the airline’s senior vice president of commercial. “SpiceJet has been achieving the highest load factor consistently for the past 10 months, which clearly reinstates its brand preference.”

The new flights from Delhi will join a series of new services SpiceJet recently announced from Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai.
