SpiceJet will launch new flights on four domestic routes this month.

Commencing on Sunday 15 June 2014, the low-cost carrier will add extra services on the Bengaluru-Mangalore, Chennai-Madurai, Delhi-Lucknow and Bengaluru-Hyderabad sector.

On the route between Bengaluru and Mangalore, in Karnataka state, SpiceJet is introducing a new daily flight using its 189-seat Boeing 737 aircraft. This will complement the existing flight which is operated using 78-seater Bombardier Q400.

On Chennai-Madurai sector, new B737 flights will operate every Tuesday and Saturday, boosting the total frequency from five flights per week to daily.

Another new B737 flight between Delhi and Lucknow is being introduced that will fly six times a week, which will allow the airline to offer same-day return services in both directions on the route.

Finally, a new Saturday service is being deployed on the Bengaluru-Hyderabad route.

“We have seen good demands on these routes and to fulfill we are adding new capacities on these sectors,” said Kaneswaran Avili, chief commercial officer of SpiceJet.
SpiceJet now operates more than 330 daily flights to 48 destinations, including 41 cities in India.
