SpiceJet commences Kolkata-Bagdogra-Kathmandu route

SpiceJet has commenced flights from Kolkata and Bagdogra to Kathmandu.
The new route will run three times a week every Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting in Kolkata then landing at Bagdogra before continuing onto Kathmandu.
Both legs will be operated by a Boeing 737 NG, with the Kolkata services departing at 11.30 to land in Kathmandu at 15.05, while the return leg will leave the Nepalese city at 16.05 to land in Kolkata at 19.20.
SpiceJet already operates 11 weekly flights from Delhi to Kathmandu, which 46, 700 people flying on the Delhi route in the last three months. Around 5, 260 customers have already booked to fly on the new service from Kolkata and Bagdogra.
