India’s low-cost carrier SpiceJet has denied news reports about Kuwait Airways seeking to buy 25% stake in the budget
airline, reported a report by Arabian Business.
In January, the carrier had said it received some interest from potential investors, but it would be early to discuss the possibility of any concrete investments.
The Indian government has changed regulations allowing foreign airlines to invest up to 49% in domestic carriers.
