Spicejet has launched a new online travel booking site.
The new MySpiceTrip.com site, which is powered by TripFactory.com, offers more than 100,000 travel packages, with discounts of “up to 80% discount”. According to Spicejet, the new site offers “a Google-like search with an Amazon kind of personalisation and recommendations engine, along with live chat with travel experts”.
“MySpiceTrip.com… is a unique product because the information, expertise, holiday packages and pricing are not available in one place anywhere else on the Internet,” explained Kaneswaran Avili, Spicejet’s chief commercial officer.
This new platform enables hotels and tour companies to add their own inventory directly to the site alongside Spicejet’s flights, which, according to the airline, makes it the “cheapest distribution channel”.
“This information is curated and backed by actual experts with years of collective knowledge, and is presented at a click of a mouse with technology that serves and learns like a human,” Avili added.
Vinay Gupta, founder & CEO of TripFactory added; “TripFactory.com… offers unbiased advice and is a repository of everything that you may need when you plan your travel or see expert advice. We are excited to partner with Spicejet and bring to their customers the finest travel experience that exists today online.”
Spicejet currently operates 330 daily flights to 48 destinations, including 41 in India.
