SpiceJet has launched SpiceClub, a new pre-paid card scheme for its frequent flyers.
The new card offers passengers rewards points on the purchase of products and services made through the airline’s website, such as in-flight meals, merchandise and other add-on services. It can also be used on shopping through its retail partners.
The annual membership fee for SpiceClub is INR599 (US$10).
The introductory benefits of the card include a free air ticket on the member’s birthday, up to 50% off domestic air tickets for two passengers on wedding anniversaries, vouchers for domestic flight bookings, and priority check-in.
Meanwhile another Indian LCC, GoAir, has launched a series of ‘Boarding Pass Privileges’, which offers discounts at restaurants, hotels, spas, flowers and other retailers. Passengers can avail up to 50% discount at all partner outlets, including those outside airports, when they present their GoAir boarding pass.
