Spring adds Southeast Asian routes

Shanghai-based Spring Airlines will launch two new international routes next month, as Chiang Mai and Danang join the low-cost carrier’s route map.
Commencing on 30 March 2014, Spring will launch a four weekly flights between Shanghai and Chiang Mai, with service departing Pudong International Airport every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 1720. The northern city will become Spring’s third destination in Thailand, following Bangkok and Phuket.
Also, the airline will launch a twice weekly service from Shanghai to Danang. Starting on 31 March 2014, flights will leave Pudong every Monday and Friday at 2105. This route will mark Spring’s debut in Vietnam.
All new services will be operated using an all-economy Airbus A320 aircraft.
