Angela Byrne has been named as the new head of tourism for the Isle of Man’s department of economic development. Byrne previously worked in the tourism division under quality and service manager and has spent the last six months as ‘acting’ head of tourism.
Rachel Hunt has been appointed trade development consultant UK & Ireland at Tourism New Zealand. Hunt will start in the London office today to develop the tourism board’s trade strategy and strengthen relationships. She joins from Tourism Auckland.
Steve Odell has been appointed as Silversea’s new president for Europe & Asia Pacific. Odell brings 28 years of travel and cruise industry experience to the role, most recently serving as Silversea’s senior vice president for the UK, Europe & Asia Pacific.
Greg Berman has been announced as the new chief operating officer of eRevMax International, owner of the RateTiger channel management solution. Berman joins eRevMax from Hotel Bookings Solutions Inc, where he served as both COO and chief technology officer.
Fabian Seet has been named as the new director of international sales & marketing for Jin Jiang International Hotels. Seet joins the Chinese hotel company from serviced apartment group Ascott, where he served as director of global sales. He will be based in Singapore.
Katie Thomas has become the new global product manager of traveller services for FCm Travel Solutions. Thomas is no stranger to FCm, having spent 14 years with the company in a variety of roles, most recently e-commerce area leader. She is based in London.
