Starwood Hotels & Resorts has opened its first ever Four Points hotel in Indonesia’s third largest city, Bandung.
The new Four Points by Sheraton Bandung is located in the Dago area of the city, 20 minutes’ drive from the city’s Husein Sastranegara International Airport.
The new midscale hotel features 162 rooms and three F&B venues, including a 12th floor rooftop bar that offers views of the city. Other amenities include a 24-hour fitness centre, a kids’ club, free Wi-Fi and 900m² of function space, including eight meeting rooms and a ballroom.
“Bandung has seen tourism numbers increase over the years, especially from nearby Singapore and Malaysia,” said Charlie Dang, Starwood’s regional vice president for Southeast Asia. “With the opening of Four Points Bandung… we look forward to offer leisure and business travellers the signature Four Points brand promise of providing everything that matters most whilst travelling on the road.”
Starwood launched its Four Points brand in Indonesia last year, with the opening of the Four Points Bali Kuta. The Four Points by Sheraton Makassar then launched shortly afterwards.
And following the Bandung opening, Starwood plans to add at least four more Four Points hotels across the country, starting with the Four Points by Sheraton Surabaya, which is scheduled to welcome its first guests next month.
