Starwood Hotels & Resorts has opened its first ever Four Points by Sheraton hotel in South Korea.
The new Four Points by Sheraton Seoul Namsan occupies the 19th to 30th floors of a tower in the Yongsan-gu area of the city.
The hotel offers 342 rooms, all with free Wi-Fi, plus a restaurant, two private dining rooms, a bar serving craft beers, a business centre and 54m² of function space.
“Four Points is one of Starwood’s most rapidly expanding brands globally and we are excited to… bring the brand to South Korea,” said Lothar Pehl, starwood’s senior vice president of operations & global initiatives for Asia Pacific.
“Four Points has proven to be a hit with independent travellers across the globe. We are confident that Four Points Seoul, Namsan will resonate well with travellers who are looking for timeless style, comfort and genuine service.”
The new Four Points joins Starwood’s existing portfolio of seven properties in South Korea, covering four of its brands: W, Westin, Sheraton and Aloft. There are also two more hotels in Starwood’s South Korean pipeline: the Sheraton Daegu Hotel and The Parnas, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Seoul.
