Starwood has celebrated the opening of its 200th Four Points hotel.
The brand reached the milestone following the recent opening of four new properties: Four Points Istanbul Dudullu in Turkey, Four Points Seoul Namsan in South Korea, Four Points Bali Kuta in Indonesia and Four Points Moncton in Canada.
And Four Points will continue its rapid expansion, with approximately one more hotel opening every week until the end of 2015, including new properties in India, the US, Turkey, Algeria, Taiwan, China and Canada.
“Four Points is proud to cross the 200th hotel milestone with the recent openings of these four hotels in diverse and dynamic markets across the globe,” said Brian McGuinness, Starwood’s global brand leader for specialty select brands.
“Built for the modern, everyday traveller, Four Points continues to offer our guests exactly what they need while on the road. Demand for our winning formula is at an all-time high, and the brand’s performance has never been better.”
Four Points now has the largest pipeline of any Starwood brand, and is expected to expand its inventory by nearly 60% in the next five years. At present, the brand has 119 hotels in North America, 44 in Asia Pacific, 21 in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and 19 in Latin America.
Four Points’ 200th hotel marks the second milestone of the week for Starwood, which also recently announced the opening of its 100th Aloft hotel.
