Kuoni has made some changes to its management structure as it continues to focus on its customer focused initiatives and cuts back on European outbound operations.
UK managing director Derek Jones has taken on extra responsibility for the specialist brands such as Kirker Holidays, Carrier, Voyages Jules Verne, CV Travel and Journeys of Distinction in addition to his current tour operator role. Francis Torrilla will continue to operate the management of the specialist brands.
In marketing, Andrew Pozniak, previously head of online/mobile for its outbound Europe arm has become vice president sales and marketing at Kuoni UK. Wendy Kenneally joins as VP purchasing and customer experience with Darren Grahame-Betts as head of customer experience.
Joanna Edmunds, SVP of procurement and production for Kuoni’s outbound Europe business is to leave due to its more localised approach, while Matt Rooke, e-business and publishing VP left the company last month to pursue “new challenges”.
The changes come as the tour operator continues its customer-centred strategy with plans to add more John Lewis concessions to its expanding presence on the high street.
