Following the opening of EAST Hong Kong in January 2010, Swire Hotels is now planning to launch the hotel concept in Beijing.
Opening in the Chinese capital’s in Chaoyang district in late-September 2012, EAST Beijing will feature has 369 rooms, all of which include international power-points, iPod touch technology and complimentary Wi-Fi. Hotel facilities will include a gym, swimming pool and an outdoor splash pool, as well as two restaurants, and a ground floor bar and music venue.
The hotel is linked to the Indigo shopping mall and will be connected to the Beijing Subway Line 14 in the future.

Continuing with what we’re doing in Hong Kong, our philosophy for the EAST brand is to create a lifestyle business hotel that is going to rejuvenate you when you are tired; energise you when you are in search of fun; and support you when it’s time for business.” said Brian Williams, Managing Director of Swire Hotels.
EAST Beijing will become Swire’s second hotel in the Chinese capital, following The Opposite House.
