Swiss-Belhotel targets Indian outbound market

Hong Kong-based hotel group, Swiss-Belhotel International, is planning to drive more business from the large Indian outbound market.

The company, which currently operates 125 hotels, mainly in Asia Pacific and the Middle East, has appointed Global Destinations as its new sales representative in India. The Mumbai-based company will be tasked with driving more Indian guests to Swiss-Belhotel’s global properties.

“India is a market of great potential for our brands,” said Swiss-Belhotel’s chairman & president, Gavin M. Faull.

“We are confident the international quality standards and professionalism of Swiss-Belhotel International properties will be well accepted by the Indian travel trade and consumers and we are tremendously looking forward to a long and fruitful partnership with Global Destinations.”

Founded in 2008, Global Destinations represents several numerous high profile travel brands.

“It is truly a privilege to add Swiss-Belhotel International properties to our product portfolio and we are looking forward to working with our trade partners on pan India business developing the market for Swiss-Belhotel International’s hotels and resorts,” said the company’s founder, Pranav Kapadia.
