The tourism board held the 11th edition of its annual travel experience conference in New Delhi last Friday, in a bid to woo the young aged Indian travellers and increase the tourism by 10%.

“The May-June holiday season is coming up and we are specially focusing on youth between 12 to 24 years who can influence their parents,” Stephan Heuberger, director of Switzerland Tourism was quoted by Pardaphash.com.

Ritu Sharma, Deputy Director of Switzerland Tourism in India said, “The growth rate of Indian travellers has remained at 2% for the last two years due to recession but it was 10% before that. For 2014, we are targeting a growth rate of 10%.
