The Taj Mahal in Agra will be adopted by ONGC under the Campaign Clean India.

The World Heritage Site will be adopted by the company in the presence of Dr K Chiranjeevi, Union Minister of Tourism at an event in Agra.

The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has agreed to ONGC’s proposal for adopting a total of six more monuments under the Clean India Campaign which includes Ellora & Elephanta Caves – Maharashtra, Red Fort – Delhi, Golkonda Fort – Hyderabad and Mahabalipuram – Tamil Nadu.

Chiranjeevi has strongly felt the need to undertake sustained operations to ensure clean and hygienic environment, stated a PIB release.
