The Malaysian city of Miri now has a new landmark, following the opening of a waterfront hotel set in the city’s tallest building.

Overlooking the South China Sea, the new Pullman Miri Waterfront forms part of the new Miri Waterfront Commercial Centre, on the banks of the Miri River.

The hotel features 328 rooms and suites with views of the city and the sea. There are also five F&B outlets, a swimming pool, fitness centre, sauna and jacuzzi, and for the MICE market there is a range of meeting rooms and ballrooms that can cater up to 1,000 people.

Located in the state of Sarawak, close to the border with Brunei, Miri is a gateway to many of Borneo’s natural wonders and national parks. The Pullman hotel is 10 minutes’ drive from Miri International Airport, which has direct flights to and from Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
