Indonesia’s Tauzia Hotel Management has held a ground-breaking ceremony to mark the start of construction work on two new hotels in Bali – the Harris and Pop! Hotels Cokroaminoto Denpasar.

The new combined project will see the addition of an 87-room midscale Harris and a 123-room budget Pop! hotel in Bali, close to Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Tauzia revealed that the two properties will mostly cater to the business and MICE markets, with facilities including a convention hall and meeting rooms, while the Harris property will also feature a cafe, swimming pool, spa and kids’ club.

The Pop! Hotel Cokroaminoto will open its doors by end of 2013, followed by Harris Hotel Cokroaminoto in the second quarter of 2014.

“Strategically located in Denpasar, [these hotels] will actively support the growth of business and commercial activities in the area,” said Tauzia’s Director, Christophe Glass.
