CHRIS MOLONEY has been announced as InterContinental Hotels Group’s (IHG) new Chief Operating Officer for South West Asia. An IHG veteran, Moloney most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of IHG ANA Hotels Group, IHG’s Japanese joint venture.

NORBERT STIEKEMA has been appointed Executive Vice President of Costa Crociere, effective 28 March 2011. He joins the cruise company from Eurodisney Paris, where he is currently Senior Vice President Sales & Distribution for the EMEA region.

J. PAUL SNOW has been announced as the new Operations Manager for the Centara Boutique Collection. A New Zealand national, Snow was previously the Operations Manager of Astudo Hotels & Resorts, which is now part of Centara Hotels & Resorts.

ALEXIS DOBBELAERE has been appointed Vice President of Strategic Sales for Pegasus Solutions. Dobbelaere brings 15 years of experience to the role, and joins Pegasus from Design Hotels, where he served as Director of Revenue & Distribution.

JEANNIE CHO LEE has joined Galaxy Macau as the new integrated resort’s Master of Wine. Ms Lee, who consults for Singapore Airlines, will oversee the development of the resort’s wine list, as well as hosting a series of dinners, seminars and other special events.

BISWO KHADKA has been appointed General Manager of URBN Hotels in Shanghai. A Nepalese national, Khadka has 18 years’ experience including a spell with IHG. His previous appointments include Director of Sales & Marketing at the Crowne Plaza Zhengzhou.

TOM WALLEY has returned to Australia as Flight Centre Group’s Executive General Manager for Western Australia, South Australia & Northern Territories, based in Perth. Walley previously worked in the UK as General Manager of Corporate Traveller.

DAVID O’HANLON has been appointed General Manager of the Grand Swiss-Belhotel Medan, Indonesia. An Irish national, O’Hanlon has more than 20 years’ experience, most recently as General Manager of the Swiss-Belhotel Borneo Samarinda.

DAVID TAI has been named as the new General Manager of the Swiss-Belhotel Borneo Samarinda, Indonesia. A Malaysian national, Tai joins the hotel with 17 years’ experience, most recently as Generla Manager of the Grand Swiss-Belhotel Medan.
