CAMPBELL WILSON has been announced as the founding Chief Executive Officer of Singapore Airlines’ new low-cost carrier unit. Wilson has been with the SIA Group for more than 15 years and in 2010 became General Manager for Japan, based in Tokyo.

JAN SMITS has become IHG’s new Chief Executive for Asia, Middle East & Africa. The move expands Smits’ previous role, in which he was responsible for Asia and Australasia. He replaces Kirk Kinsell in MEA, who now heads up The Americas region.

CHHAVI MALHOTRA
has been appointed Regional Director of Revenue Management for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Thailand, Vietnam & Cambodia. Malhotra has more than 10 years’ experience with Marriott, Hyatt, Taj and Hilton.

ANGELA BRAV has assumed the role of Chief Executive – Europe for IHG. Ms Brav, who joined IHG in 1988, was previously the hotel company’s Chief Operating Officer for North America, and also now takes a seat on the company’s Executive Committee.

BENOIT AMADO has been named General Manager of the Pullman Shanghai Skyway. Amado joins the hotel from the Grand Mercure Hongqiao, where he served as GM for the past three years. He also has experience in the UK, Europe, Africa and Indonesia.

CLINTON LOVELL has been appointed General Manager of the Pullman Pattaya Aisawan, Thailand. A New Zealand national, Lovell joined Accor in 2004 and most recently served as General Manager of Mercure Samui Buri Resort.

WAYNE DUBERLY has been named as the new General Manager of the Centara Anda Dhevi Resort & Spa, Krabi. Duberly has experience in the UK, Vietnam and St Kitts & Nevis, and was previously GM of the Desert Palm Retreat by Per Aquum, Dubai.

CHARLES-HENRI CHEVET has taken the reigns as General Manager of the Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra. A French national, Chevet previously spent time in China, where he served as Hotel Manager at Sofitel properties in Shanghai and Beijing.

MELISSA TRACEY has been announced as the new Hotel Manager of the Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa. An Australian national, Ms Tracey has 17 years’ experience, most recently as Executive Assistant Manager at the Langham Place Hotel, Hong Kong.

MEG HALL has been appointed Marketing Manager of Chimu Adventures, the Australia-based Latin America tour specialist. Formerly Head of Communications at Kumuka Worldwide, Ms Hall brings 19 years’ industry experience to the role.
