Thai AirAsia is doubling the frequency of its Bangkok-Hanoi route with the launch of a second daily flight.
Effective 9 December 2016, the low-cost carrier will add a new evening service on the route, departing Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport every day at 1835 and arriving in Hanoi at 2020. The return service then leaves Vietnam’s capital city at 2050 and arrives back in Bangkok at 2245.
This new service complements Thai AirAsia’s existing morning service, which departs Don Mueang at 0700. Like all Thai AirAsia flights, the new Hanoi service will be operated using an all-economy class Airbus A320 aircraft.
AirAsia currently flies from Thailand to seven ASEAN countries – Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore – with 17 routes totalling 30 daily flights. In addition to the Hanoi flights, the LCC also operates three daily flights between Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City.
