Thai AirAsia X has taken delivery of its second Airbus A330-300 aircraft.
The new twin-aisle jet touched down at Bangkok’s Bangkok Don Mueang International Airport this week and was blessed in a traditional Buddhist ceremony attended by Thai AirAsia X’s CEO, Nadda Buranasiri.
The 377-seat aircraft comes fitted with 12 flatbed seats in business class and 365 seats in economy.
It will initially be deployed on the route between Bangkok and Seoul Incheon International Airport, which will become the airline’s inaugural service when it launches on 17 June 2014. Flights to Tokyo Narita and Osaka will follow later this year.
