Thai AirAsia X has taken delivery of its third aircraft.
The new Airbus A330-300 touched down at Bangkok‘s Don Mueang International Airport this week, featuring a picture of South Korean footballer Park Ji-Sung on the fuselage. This forms part of the partnership between AirAsia X and the former Manchester United midfielder, who will now act as an ambassador for the airline.
The new aircraft features 377 seats, including 12 in business class and 365 in economy.
It will be used to increase the frequency of Thai AirAsia X’s existing Bangkok-Tokyo Narita route to twice daily from 29 March, while the Bangkok-Osaka and Bangkok-Seoul routes will both move to daily services.
And Thai AirAsia X will expand further in May 2015, with the launch of a brand new route to Sapporo.
