The national carrier of Thailand Thai Airways has announced a partnership with Standard Chartered Bank for a new campaign named ‘Fly faster with a Standard Chartered Card’. 

Standard Chartered credit card holders are also members of Thai Airways’ Royal Orchid Plus frequent flyer programme.

Members of the bank can earn up to 45,000 miles and redeem free round-trip tickets on select destinations.

Chokchai Panyayong, Thai senior executive vice president, commercial department said that Thai is pleased to continue partnering with Standard Chartered Bank (Thai) for customer benefits through the new campaign.

There are currently 2.4 million Royal Orchid members worldwide who are able to take advantage of partners companies including hotels, credit card companies and car rental firms.

The free mileage is redeemable from any member of the Star Alliance association.

Last week we reported that Thai Airways was collaborating with Tourism New Zealand to bring more nationals to the country.
