Thai Airways has resumed flights to Moscow, less than two years after they were suspended.
The national carrier, led by Phakkhra Ruangsiradecho (pictured fifth from right), vice president of ground customer services, celebrated the relaunch of its direct Bangkok-Moscow flights on 15 December 2016.
They will now operate four times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays) using a 292-seat, two-class Boeing 777-200ER aircraft.
THAI ceased operating its Moscow service in March 2015 due to a slowdown in travel linked to the weakness of the Russian economy.
