Thailand, Malaysia top Premier sales
Thailand and Malaysia are the top selling long-haul destinations at Premier Holidays for the year, it has announced.
The tour operator has seen long-haul bookings increase 20% during 2012 with Singapore, UAE, Hong Kong and Australia also popular with customers. Its forward bookings for 2013 are up 21% with Australia, USA, New Zealand and Thailand selling well.
“Clients who holiday during the peak travel months tend to book early to take advantage of the best prices and discounts. However, we have also found that strong tactical offers are stimulating demand and in turn spontaneous purchases are increasing for the low season, said Debbie Goffin, Head of Sales and Marketing at Premier Holidays on the reason behind the figures.
“Moving into 2013 we expect to see a continued growth in the tailor-made, high-revenue bookings market. We predict that Thailand and Malaysia will remain firm favourites with clients but Australia, South Africa, Canada and USA will also be popular choices.”
