Thailand’s Absolute adds new hotel in Goa

The hotel will be located close to Calangute Beach in North Goa

Bangkok-based Absolute Hotel Services (AHS) has expanded its portfolio in India with the signing of a new Eastin Easy hotel in Goa.

The new-build Eastin Easy Calangute Goa is scheduled to open in 2016, close to Calangute Beach in North Goa. The property will feature 40 rooms, a restaurant, rooftop bar, gym, swimming pool with children’s area and a banqueting room.

“We are excited to introduce Eastin Easy brand to Goa, one of the world’s preferred and popular holiday destinations,” said Sameer Dharkar, managing director of AHS India & Middle East.

Eastin Easy Calangute Goa will join a collection of nine AHS hotels currently either open or in the pipeline in India. It will also become the country’s third Eastin Easy-branded property, joining the Eastin Easy Kolkata and Eastin Easy Kurseong Darjeeling, both of which are expected to open in 2015.

The company already operates the U KBJ La Casa Bella resort in Goa.
