The Apartment Service, the UK-based company which manages global bookings for the serviced apartment sector, has opened its first Asia Pacific office, located in Singapore.
The company said that a physical presence in the Asia Pacific region would enable it to provide “round-the-clock global coverage for both inbound and outbound requests”.
The Singapore office will be managed by Andy McCrow, the Apartment Service’s new regional director for Asia Pacific. A company veteran, McCrow has spent his entire career with the Apartment Service, having joined in 1998.
“In line with our strategic growth plan, the development of our operation in the APAC region supports our goal of providing a truly global service to our clients. Our teams work seamlessly together across all locations powered by a common technology platform providing 100% connectivity with real time data,” said Jo Layton, the company’s managing director of group commercial sales.
“The last two years have been very exciting for our global teams. The growth of our company has been phenomenal with offices now in New York, Lisbon, Madrid, Singapore and London.”
The Apartment Company’s expansion follows the launch of the TAS Alliance in February 2014, which brought together serviced apartment operators from across the globe under a single marketing and distribution strategy, powered by a common technology platform.
