BUHDY BOK has been named as the new president of Costa Asia and Costa Cruises Pacific & China. The move marks a promotion for the cruise industry veteran, who previously served as Costa’s senior vice president for Asia Pacific & China. Bok joined the Italian cruise company in May 2011 as vice president for China.
WADE JONES has become the new senior vice president of marketing & strategy for the Sabre Travel Network. Jones joins Sabre from Deem, a San Francisco-based technology company that integrates travel expense and spend management solutions. He has also worked for Procter & Gamble.
GINO TAN has been appointed general manager of the Pan Pacific Singapore. He joins the hotel with more than 22 years of international hospitality experience, including spells in Singapore, China and the UK. Most recently he was general manager at the Parkroyal on Pickering hotel in Singapore.
TINA SIM has taken over from Gino Tan as general manger of the Parkroyal on Pickering, Singapore. Ms Sim has almost three decades of hotel experience with brands including Shangri-La, Westin, Ritz-Carlton and Conrad. Most recently, she was GM of special projects for Shangri-La International.
ORA-ORN CHIMKLEEB has been named as the new senior catering sales manager at the Grand Millennium Sukhumvit hotel in Bangkok. Ms Ora-orn’s career started in 2007 at the Landmark Bangkok Hotel. She then worked for the Banyan Tree Bangkok before arriving at the Grand Millennium in 2011.
ASHISH ROY has become the new director of sales at the Eastin Hotel Ahmedabad. A seasoned hospitality professional with more than two decades of experience, Roy has previously worked with Radisson, Hyatt and The Park Hotels. Most recently he was at the Radisson Resort Gandhinagar in Gujarat.
NICHOLAS TSE has become the general manager of the JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen Bao’an. With a Marriott career spanning 22 years, Tse has worked in Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam. Most recently he was general manager of the Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel.
