ROBERT SWADE has been named as the Jumeirah Group’s new chief operating officer. Swade, who takes up the new role on 18 June, first joined Jumeirah in 2005 as general counsel. In 2012 he was appointed as group chief development officer. A qualified lawyer, he worked in London before moving to Dubai.

TITIYA CHOOTO has become the new general manager of the Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel. Ms Titiya brings almost 20 years of managerial experience to the role, most recently as GM of the Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai and Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle. She also spent six years with Shangri-La.

RORY CAMPBELL has been announced as the general manager of the new Outrigger Koh Samui Beach Resort. Outrigger launched the resort this month and Campbell now moves to the property from his previous role as director of sales & marketing at the Outrigger Laguna Phuket Beach Resort.

MARC MULCAHY has been appointed as Tourism New Zealand’s new trade development consultant for the UK & Ireland. Mulcahy commenced his role at the tourism board’s London office on Monday. He previously worked in Queenstown for Nomad Safaris, where he held the role of business development manager.

SUMA MENON has become the Eastin Hotel Ahmedabad’s new director of sales. Ms Menon arrives at the hotel with 10 years of experience, including spells at Le Meridien Hotel Ahmedabad, Sheraton Udaipur Palace Resort & Spa, and most recently, Four Points Sheraton, where she headed up sales & marketing.

RAYMOND CHEUNG has been named as the new executive chef at the Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Tsim Sha Tsui. He will now oversee all four of the hotel’s restaurants, plus room service and catering. Chef Raymond has worked with Hyatt since 1989, working his way up from sous chef at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong.
