MAK HOE KIT has been named as Frasers Hospitality’s new chief investment officer, responsible the investment and acquisition of hospitality assets. He joins the serviced apartment company from private equity fund manager Northstar Group, where he was the executive director of real estate for Southeast Asia.
PHILIPPE LE BOURHIS has been named general manager of the Pullman Bangkok Grande Sukhumvit (previously the Grand Millennium Sukhumvit). A French national, he brings more than 20 years of experience to the role, including spells in Indonesia and Thailand. Most recently he was GM of the Pullman Jakarta.
ANTHONY HA has been appointed general manager of Hyatt Regency Suzhou, and Hyatt’s area vice president. Ha began his career at Hyatt Regency San Francisco in 1986 and worked at hotels in China and Micronesia before rejoining Hyatt in February 2011. Most recently he was GM at the Hyatt Regency Qingdao.
JACK CHUA has been announced as the new general manager of the Park Regis Singapore. A seasonal hotelier with 30 years’ experience, Chua has previously worked with Shangri-La, Swissotel and Millennium & Copthorne. Most recently he was executive assistant manager at the Grand Corpthorne Waterfront.
MOK KOK MENG has been appointed general manager of the Sedona Hotel Yangon. Mok brings three decades of experience managing five-star properties throughout China and Malaysia. The last 10 years of his career were spent with Accor, where he managed hotels in Nanjing, Ningbo, Dalian and Xi’an.
GARY AU has been appointed general manager of the Dorsett Tsuen Wan hotel in Hong Kong. Au has more than 25 years of hotel experience and moves to the hotel from the Dorsett Mongkok. Prior to joining Dorsett Hospitality he held senior roles at Best Western and Regal Hotels in Hong Kong.
SUSAN CARLOS has been announced as the new general manager of the Dorsett Grand Labuan in Malaysia. An experienced hotelier, Ms Carlos has worked with Dorsett since 2007 and moves into the GM’s seat following her previous role as the hotel’s executive assistant manager.
