GREG WEBB has been named as the new vice chairman of Sabre. Webb moves into the new role from his current position of executive vice president of Sabre and president of Sabre Travel Network. He will now be responsible for customer engagement and global development initiatives.
WILFRED WONG has been announced as the new president & chief operating officer of Sands China. Wong joins the resort and casino operator from Hong Kong-listed Hsin Chong Construction Group, where he served as chairman & CEO. He has also previously held roles with the Hong Kong government.
SEAN MENKE has become the new executive vice president of Sabre and president of Sabre Travel Network, following Greg Webb’s promotion. An aviation professional, Menke brings more than 20 years of experience to Sabre, most recently as executive vice president and chief operations officer of Hawaiian Airlines.
DANA JONES has been named as Sabre’s new senior vice president of new market development, tasked with expanding the company’s presence in China and Africa. Ms Jones currently serves as Sabre Airline Solutions’ chief marketing officer and senior vice president of solutions management, and she will continue to hold this position.
FRANK GRASSMANN has been appointed general manager of The Nai Harn resort in Phuket, which was formerly known as Royal Phuket Yacht Club. Grassmann moves to Phuket from another Thai island, Koh Kood, where he was GM at the Soneva Kiri luxury resort. He has also worked with Dusit, Starwood and IHG.
ANDREW HODGES has been appointed as AccorHotels’ new director of revenue management & systems for Asia Pacific. Since 2003, Hodges has worked for AccorHotels in operational and revenue management roles. Most recently he was director of revenue & distribution for New Zealand, Fiji and French Polynesia.
JARED GREEN has become new director of sales for The Strand Cruise, the new river cruise operator in Myanmar. Green, who will also be responsible for sales for The Strand Hotel in Yangon, joins the company from the Song Saa Private Island in Cambodia, where he was director of sales.
KOS KAKLIDAKIS has been appointed as Rocco Forte Hotels’ new director of global sales, based at the company’s London head office. Kaklidakis moves to Rocco Forte from Maybourne Hotel Group, where he served as acting director of sales worldwide and launched the Maybourne Roadshows Partners programme.
BENJAPORN MAGROODTONG has become the new group director of sales for the Sala Hospitality Group. Ms Benjaporn joins Thailand-based Sala with more than 10 years of experience, the last four of which have been spent as director of leisure sales for the JW Marriott Phuket. She has also worked for Anantara.
