CHRISTINE LIU has become STR Global’s new country manager for China. Based in Beijing, she will now head up the hotel benchmarking company’s operations in China. Liu joins STR Global from TSA Solutions, where she spent the past two years as regional director of business development for Greater China.
MARIA TAYLOR has been appointed as TravelClick’s new regional vice president for Southeast Asia. Ms Taylor joins the hotel technology company from Meritus Hotels & Resorts, where she served as regional vice president of sales & distribution since 2012. She previously spent 19 years with AccorHotels in Asia Pacific.
ADRIAN CROFT has been announced as Khiri Travel’s new director of sales & marketing for the UK. Croft brings more than 15 years of travel industry knowhow to Khiri Travel. He previously worked for Kuoni Travel Group for seven years and has also been director of sales & marketing for the Banyan Tree Phuket.
JOHN SNOOK has been formally appointed chief operations officer at Hawaiian Airlines, having been interim COO since October. He brings 29 years of experience to the airline, having risen through the ranks with American Airlines, starting as a ticket agent and later becoming senior vice president of customer service.
ZUBIN BILIMORIA has been named president of revenue management service for RezNext, the travel distribution technology company. Bilimoria is a seasoned hospitality professional who has held senior roles with Travtech Business Solutions, ResNet World and, most recently, Profitroom.
TREY HICKEY has been promoted to the role of senior vice president of international sales for Princess Cruises. Hickey was previously vice president of international sales, spearheading Princess’ growth in Asia. Based in Shanghai, he will now continue to oversee the company’s expansion.
ELZA ARTIAGA has been appointed resort manager of the Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort. A US national, she brings 17 years of hotel management experience to the role, including spells in the Maldives, US and the Caribbean. Most recently she was general manager of the Coco Palm resort in the Maldives.
SAM MORRAH has been named as Contiki’s new sales & marketing director for Asia. A New Zealand national, Morrah worked as a radio broadcaster for several years before entering the travel industry as a trip manager in 2010. He joined Contiki’s New Zealand team in 2013 and moved to Australia a year later.
