ANDREW LANGSTON has been announced as JLL Hotels & Hospitality’s new executive vice president for Indochina, based in Bangkok. Langston has extensive experience in the Asian hotel industry, most recently serving as Banyan Tree’s vice president of hotel operations for Asia Pacific.
PETER BRUN has been appointed as chief communications officer for VFS Global, effective 1 July. A Swiss national, Brun brings 28 years’ experience to Kuoni’s visa services company. He is no stranger to Kuoni, having joined the company in 2005 and spent the last six years as its chief communications officer.
DUANGDEJ YUAIKWARMDEE has been named as Carlson Wagonlit Travel’s (CWT) new country director for Thailand, based in Bangkok. Duangdej graduated from the University of London and has worked with American Express Thailand, US Kall International Corporation and Reed Tradex.
JEROME TAILLARD has become general manager of the Harris Hotel & Conventions Riverside Malang, Indonesia. Taillard started his career as assistant head waiter at a Pullman hotel in Paris, and gradually worked his way up to become GM of Cassia Cottage Resort Phu Quoc, Vietnam, in 2014.
ANTHONY QUIN has been appointed general manager of the Mövenpick Hotel Enshi in Hubei province, China. An Australian national, Quin started his career with IHG, spending eight years with the company in Australia and Canada. He joined Mövenpick in 2014 as GM of the company’s hotel in Hanoi.
VIVIAN LIN has been named as the new hotel manager at W Taipei. Ms Lin has 20 years’ hotel management experience, primarily in the F&B sector. She joined Starwood in 2010 as director of banqueting at W Taipei, during the hotel’s pre-opening, and later moved to Le Royal Méridien Shanghai.
