NATSUKO KIMURA has been hired as HomeAway’s new country head for Japan. Ms Kimura has many years of experience in marketing and e-commerce, including her most recent role at Expedia, where she helped develop the brand in Japan, Korea and Hong Kong as a regional director.
YEOH HOCK THYE has been announced as Malaysia Airlines’ new head of sales, effective 3 January 2017. Yeoh brings more than 26 years’ experience to the national carrier. His most recent position was as Delta Air Lines’ director for Singapore, Malaysia & Indonesia.
CHRISTIAN BERNKOPF has been appointed general manager of the Pullman Danang Beach Resort. A German national, Bernkopf initially moved to Asia with Hyatt in 2006. He later worked for Centara and Minor Hotel Group and most recently served as GM of Pullman Khao Lak Katiliya Resort & Spa.
JUDITH DAVIDSON has been announced as HomeAway’s new head of marketing for Asia. Based in Singapore, Ms Davidson moves to the company from BBC Worldwide Asia, where she served as vice president of marketing. She will now be tasked with developing HomeAway’s marketing strategy.
RENE TEUSCHER has been appointed general manager of the New World Millennium Hong Kong Hotel. A seasoned hotelier with 30 years’ experience, Teuscher previously spent eight years as GM of the Grand Millennium Shanghai Hongqiao. He has also worked for Marriott and Mandarin Oriental.
BENJAMIN KREUZ has become the new general manager for the Como Cocoa Island, Como Hotels & Resorts’ luxury resort in the Maldives. A German national, Kreuz has worked in China and the US and most recently served as hotel manager of the Steigenberger Hotel in Hamburg.
JODIE CLARK has become the new director of sales & marketing for Rosewood Phuket, which is currently in its pre-opening phase. An Australian national, Ms Clark has more than 15 years’ experience, most recently spending seven years with Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
ANRAWIWAN VONGVISETSON has become the new director of sales at the Chatrium Residence Sathon Bangkok. Ms Anrawiwan is no stranger to the Bangkok-based company, having previously worked corporate associate director of sales for Chatrium Hotels & Residences.
