Marriott International has hired Philip Papadopoulos as the new general manager for the Amman Marriott Hotel country general manager for Jordon.
Papadopoulos began his career as a Maitre D in Athens before becoming restaurant manager and then moving to Warsaw with Marriot as a beverage manager.
Cambridge airport hires business development manager
Cambridge airport has hired Jeremy Moore as its new business development manager. The role is a newly created position responsible for building relationships with airlines and developing new routes. Moore has experience working as sales manager for Air Mauritius and has also spent time with Cathay Pacific and British Airways.
Murphy appointed chairman of UKCVA
Andrew Murphy, the retail director of John Lewis, has been appointed the chairman of the UK China Visa Alliance, a body which represents 950 businesses which are campaigning for simplified processes to allow Chinese visitors to enter the UK.
