SCOTT BLUME has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Rajakamar Group, Indonesia’s largest domestic hotel provider. Blume (pictured) brings more than 30 years’ experience to the position, including a spell as President of Travelocity APAC and CEO of ZUJI.

JOHAN LUNDGREN
has been named as TUI Travel PLC’s new Deputy Chief Executive. Lundgren is currently Managing Director of the European travel giant’s Northern Region and a Board Director. He will now handle TUI’s Mainstream Sector.

THOMAS DREXLER
has been announced as the new Director of Rail for Amadeus. Drexler was previously Vice President of Sales at Deutsche Bahn, where he held commercial roles for the last eight years. He has also worked for Lufthansa.

MARTIN VERPOORTEN has been named General Manager of The Westin Xiamen, which opens in Q1 2012. A British national, Verpoorten has more than 20 years’ experience, most recently as GM of The Astor, a Luxury Collection Hotel, in Tianjin.

ED LINSLEY has been announced as the new General Manager of The Nam Hai luxury resort in Hoi An, Vietnam. Linsley moves to The Nam Hai from the Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay. He had served Four Seasons for two decades.

JOHN BLANCO is moving from his role as General Manager of The Nam Hai resort to take up an executive role for the property’s owner, Indochina Capital. A Venezuelan national, Blanco will now be based at Indochina Capital’s Ho Chi Minh City office.

JOHN BURGER has been appointed General Manager of the Hilton Guangzhou Tianhe. Burger, who has 26 years’ experience, has transferred from the DoubleTree by Hilton Huaqiao/Kunshan to oversee the new hotel’s opening and future development.

ROBIN DEB has been announced as the new General Manager of the Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort, Thailand. Deb joined Accor in 2005, and most recently served as General Manager at the Novotel Bangka Golf & Convention Center, Indonesia.

GREGORY PHILIPPE has joined the new Sofitel So Bangkok as Director of Food & Beverage. A French national, Philippe has worked in pre-opening roles at hotels in France and the US, and arrives from the recently-opened Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich.

TRACEY LLOYD has been appointed Group Director of Talent for Minor International, to support the growth of its Anantara brand. Ms Lloyd joins Minor from her previous role as Senior Director Global Talent Management for Hilton Middle East & Africa.

CECE HOANG has been named as the new Director of Media Services for Langham Place Mongkok, Hong Kong. A Canadian national, Ms Hoang joins the hotel from Harbour Plaza 8 Degrees, where she served as Director of Marketing Communications.

NOBKLAO TRAKOOLPAN
has been named Operations Manager of the new Aloft Bangkok – Sukhumvit 11. With 14 years experience in the hospitality industry, Ms Nobklao has previously worked for Centara Hotels & Resorts and Hilton Worldwide.
